Welcome to High House, a luxurious and solar powered 2-bedroom villa situated atop the highest elevation in the Governor`s Harbour area. Completed in early 2024, this contemporary home offers stunning views overlooking the turquoise waters surrounding French Leave Beach. Part of the exclusive Governor’s Harbour Collection, High House distinguishes itself through its impeccable architectural design, top-of-the-line furnishings, and an exceptional guest experience defined by comfort, elegance, and attention to detail.
The open-concept living area and modern kitchen at High House—with seating for six—offer the perfect space to unwind after a day exploring the island or relaxing on the beach. The kitchen features state-of-the-art appliances including a fridge/freezer, microwave, electric stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, and blender. A reverse osmosis filtered drinking water faucet is also provided to help reduce single-use plastics.
Just behind the kitchen is a laundry room equipped with a full-size stackable washer and dryer, as well as a convenient half bath.
High House features two elegantly appointed bedrooms. On the ground floor, the King bedroom includes an en-suite bathroom with a double vanity and a separate shower. Upstairs, the second bedroom offers two twin beds that can easily be converted into a King upon request. The “Jack and Jill” style en-suite bathroom includes a spacious shower with a rainfall shower head and glass doors.
A standout feature of High House is the second living room and bar on the upper level. Decorative wall tiles add character to the bar area, while the vaulted ceilings create an airy, elevated feel. Enjoy your favorite shows on the 55` SMART TV or choose from our selection of board games. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors and retractable screens open onto the expansive 14x30 ft balcony, offering breathtaking views of the treetops and ocean.
Additional amenities include AC throughout, high-speed Starlink WiFi, a printer/scanner for business needs, a gas grill, beach towels, beach chairs, an umbrella, and cooler bags. Families traveling with little ones may also request a travel crib/pack ’n play and high chair.
Completed in November 2025, the private pool is an inviting place to cool off and relax in the peaceful hilltop setting. Pool heating is available for an additional $250 per week. Our property managers live just 10 minutes away and are always available to assist during your stay.
A short 8-minute walk takes you to the world-famous French Leave Beach—renowned for its mile-long pink sand shoreline and consistently ranked among the top 20 beaches worldwide. The village of Governor’s Harbour, with grocery stores, liquor stores, restaurants, cafés, a bank, gift shops, and more, is an easy 8–10 minute drive down the other side of the hill.
High House is committed to providing an eco-friendly experience without compromising comfort. Rooftop solar panels and high-efficiency Tesla batteries power the home—even during island outages—while rainwater is collected in a 12,000-gallon tank, filtered, and pressurized for household use. The home is outfitted with LED lighting and plant-based, paraben-free bathroom amenities. Recycled grocery bags are provided, as required on Eleuthera.
