Anglers are just two blocks from Bluff’s Landing Marina, and outdoor explorers can reach Padre Island National Seashore in 25 minutes to enjoy 66 miles of wild coastline, beach driving, nature trails, and ranger-led programs.
Not a fan of sun and sand? Consider a few Corpus Christi favorites: the Texas State Aquarium, USS Lexington, Botanical Gardens, or a quick 5-minute trip to the CCA/TPWD Fish Hatchery—the state’s first saltwater hatchery. After your adventures, kick back on the front porch and soak in the peaceful views while you watch you friends scroll through their phones.
Inside: the fully stocked kitchen has everything you need to cook, snack, entertain, and feed a hungry crew. Two cozy queen bedrooms are connected by a shared full bath with dual sinks, making it convenient for everyone to freshen up after long days in the sun. The home is fully stocked with extra towels, loads of pillows, beach towels, and warm blankets to keep your stay comfortable. A third room in the back features two sets of bunk beds—perfect for kids, families, or your last friends to show up. A convenient half bath offers easy access for anyone staying in the bunk room or for larger groups. The dining room flows into the living room for easy gathering, and the picnic table on the porch is perfect for breezy outdoor meals with a view.
Outside: fire up the grill, clean your catch at the backyard fish-cleaning station, and unwind after a big day on the bay. With a long driveway and plenty of street parking, there’s room for boats, trailers, and multi-car groups—easy in, easy out. Power washer is available upon request.
Pro Tips:
* Don’t let your big catch be a “big nope.” Book the top local guides early. I will happily make the introductions so the fish actually show up for your party!
* If you plan to fish with live bait - Bait Bucket (by HEB) opens at 5 am. Call ahead and get there early! If your too late - call Bluff's Landing Marina, Clem's or Billings. If everyone is out of live bait - Clem's may get a 2nd delivery around 1-2 pm so fresh dead shrimp or fresh dead mullet is your best bet
* Stop on your way into town—grab groceries at H-E-B Plus and spirits next door. Your future self will thank you
* Charge a power bank and take it on the boat—because there’s nothing more tragic than catching a lunker, only to have your phone die before you can prove it
