This true log cabin has three proper bedrooms plus a loft area above the main living room, and two full bathrooms. The main living area includes couches, a TV, and plenty of fun activities (satellite TV, DVD player, old-school Nintendo system, and playing cards) to enjoy. The dining room table can seat 5 or 6, and a kitchen bar top seats 3 more. A second living room downstairs also has satellite TV, a couch, and three game tables (foosball, ping-pong, and mini pool).
Outside you'll find decks on both levels looking over the beautiful lake. The main level deck has adirondack rocking chairs, our gas grill, and a hammock for some extra relaxation.
Across the gravel driveway you'll find an outdoor patio area with bench seating, a fire pit, four parking spaces, and a landscape timber path down to the water with a handrail for easier climbing.
Fishermen are welcome to use our single-slip dock with year-round deep water. The closest launch point we're aware of is the public ramp on highway 48 (next to the south marina).
A few notes up front before you decide to book with us:
A quick note of caution for those with limited mobility - although we've built the path down to the water as gradual as possible, there are about 50 steps. Pros and cons to being on the deepest part of the lake.....we get to enjoy year-round water, but we do have to walk a little bit to get down to it!
Please note that while our cabin has an indoor fireplace, it is decorative only (not operable for safety reasons). For those looking to build a fire, the outdoor fire pit is ready and waiting for you! We do not provide firewood, so you'll need to bring your own.
Regarding security - for the protection of our property, we do have a home security/alarm system with exterior cameras.
