If you want a day away from the lake, Dollywood and the Smoky Mountains are an hour and half drive away. If you want to stay close, Cumberland Gap National Historic Park, ATV trails, and golf are less than an hour away. Relax on the front deck and listen to the water lap against the lake bank on a lazy afternoon. Listen to the birds chirping, squirrels chattering, or maybe spot a wild turkey or deer while drinking your morning coffee. The deck overlooking Norris Lake is great spot any time of the day. Walk along the banks of the cove for great exercise and possibly find some really cool pieces of driftwood. Children can swim without dangerous boat traffic. Great fishing spots in the back yard - literally just steps away! If you choose to venture out to the main channel of Norris Lake, it will not take long to find some action and adventure. Norris Landing Marina and Jimmy's Place is just a short boat ride away. Pontoon rentals, jet skis, tubes, and excellent food all in one marina! This open floor plan cabin is beautifully decorated with bear motif and has large windows for viewing the beauty of Norris Lake. This 3-bedroom 2 bath will sleep 10. The loft has a king master suite with full bath, separate shower and jacuzzi tub. This bedroom has a wood burning fireplace as well. The main floor has 2 bedrooms. One room has a queen bed and the other has a log double bunk that will sleep 4 comfortably. Plus, there is a futon that makes into a queen bed. A full bathroom near the full-size washer and dryer is shared by these 2 bedrooms. Bed linens, towels, and a starter supply of soap and paper products are provided. The kitchen is fully furnished with pots, pans, baking sheets, storage containers, and all the needed appliances-even a dishwasher. There are 2 barstools for a cozy breakfast in the kitchen. If you prefer the family sit together at dinner, there is a dining table for six. The living room has a wood burning fireplace, sofa, satellite tv, and stereo if weather keeps you inside. You can stay connected with free Wi-Fi at the cabin, as well. There are plenty of windows and large double doors that lead to the large lakefront deck where you can grill plenty of burgers and dogs for the family! If you want to enjoy your BBQ outside, there is a table with chairs and beautiful scenery. Need a snack? There are 2 firepits, so bring plenty of marshmallows. One is just below the front porch steps at the edge of the woods. The other is toward the lake just a few steps from your private dock. The dock is seasonal. Water levels will vary each season, so exact dates are hard to predict. The dock does float through the summer. Firewood is provided for the fireplace and firepits. Propane is provided for the grill. $100 nonrefundable pet fee (pet refers to dogs only) per pet per reservation. 2 dogs maximum.
