Perfect for individual getaways, work trips, and vacations, our cozy end-unit apartment in the medical center in San Marco area of Jacksonville will fit the bill for your next St. Johns River adventure.
The living room is outfitted with wood floors, a cozy area rug, and our comfortable and plush sectional sofa! Add to that a ceiling fan and a Smart TV with WiFi (we offer YouTube TV and LG Channels but as for Netflix, Prime, Disney+, etc. feel free to bring your own streaming passwords) you'll have everything you need to enjoy your time here.
The unit's bedroom offers a king-size bed along with other features such as two nightstands dressed with lamps, a ceiling fan, a tall dresser, and a large closet. The bathroom has a combination shower tub.
In general, getting around in Jacksonville requires a ride. The immediate area around the flat has some great restaurants and shops within walking distance, but there are great little pockets of walkable shopping and nightlife that can be reached with a 5-minute Uber ride or a drive.
We are pet friendly and charge $25 per night per pet for short term stays. For longer stays, we charge $150 per week and $300 per month per pet. If you plan to bring a pet when booking with us, please inform us in advance. The fee for pets is non-negotiable for any animal.
Events/parties are strictly prohibited and will result in a $1000 fine. A party / event is in effect any time the guest count exceeds either the maximum allowable on the property or the number of guests booked.
The following additional charges apply to late check outs/early arrivals, assuming we can offer this at all (I often can’t so please never assume this will be allowed):
1 hr or less early arrival or late departure: $25
1-2 hr early arrival/late departure: $50
2-3 hr early arrival/late departure: $75
3+ hr early arrival/late departure: $100 or the cost of an additional night’s stay, whichever is more
These fees are primarily in place to highly discourage late checkouts/early arrivals since this causes my cleaning service undue stress to prep the unit prior to your or the next set of guest’s arrival. This also increases the need for them to rush/cut corners, increasing the likelihood of them not cleaning the unit to the high standard which I hold them to.
We have a smart thermostat in this home and do limit temperatures to the following ranges to reduce our environmental impact:
Summer - 70 to 85 degrees F
Winter - 60 to 75 degrees F
***Finally, smoking is strictly forbidden anywhere on the property - inside the property or in any outdoor areas***
***If we find cigar/cigarette butts of any kind on the property or evidence of smoking (ash on flat surfaces, empty cigarette packs, etc.) we will assess a $250 cleaning fee in addition to the regular cleaning fee***
