There's plenty of gathering space here, including a refreshing swimming pool and cabana!
The West 1077 Guest Ranch is conveniently located close to the Hill Country State Natural Area right next door! It's a unique opportunity for nature lovers to explore this pristine natural setting, with over 40 miles of trails you can hike and spot local wildlife. The ranch itself also has plenty of hiking and biking trails, as well. You can also take in the countryside on horseback. The ranch itself is very horse-friendly; ask us for details about boarding your own horses here during your visit!
For meal planning outside the kitchenette in the Laurel Cottage, you can strut your grilling skills on the BBQ pit on the grounds, or check out nearby Bandera and their many great culinary options. Beat the heat in the crystal-clear pool, surrounded by tanning chairs and a shaded cabana! You can also gather your crew around the fire pit for s'mores, conversation, and stargazing! There's plenty to do here, in a peaceful and refreshing setting; you can even grab a quiet moment or two in the hammocks provided on the property. The outdoor amenities are shared with another guest cabin, but there is more than enough space here for personal space and privacy!
There are two bedrooms in the light and airy interior space of the Laurel Cottage, one with a king-sized bed, and the other with two twins. When you include the day bed/couch in the living room, that adds up to comfortable sleeping space for up to five of your folks! Efficient AC and heating units, along with a ceiling fan, keep the whole space just to your liking, and there's also a convenient kitchenette with a mini fridge and sink, as well as a dining table and chairs. Your cleanup space is a sparkling clean full bath with a shower, and fresh and fluffy bed and bath linens are provided, too. Finally, you'll have breathtaking views of the Hill Country from the shaded deck, replete with outdoor furniture!
