Travel Purpose: business

Positive: The home was very spacious. We had a group of nine, and we never felt cramped; we were able to spread out and congregate when we wanted to. The beds were better than some places we have stayed. They are not too hard or firm for my taste, and I was able to sleep fine. Be prepared for all the stairs. Most places in Nashville are this way. But just be prepared. We stayed on the top floor. It was a great daily warmup, haha. Having the extra living room and coffee bar upstairs was awesome. The washer and dryer are on the second floor. The hosts were always responsive. We should have utilized their expertise more, but our group was on the go from lunch time on, so we didn't request or ask much. Fenwick's and the Mexican food place right down from it are excellent. We didn't try anywhere else nearby, but the comedy club is right down the street, and you could walk there if you wanted to see a show. Overall, it was great for our needs. We had several shows to attend, so we weren't at the house much. Uber and Lyft are both affordable from the location. It was typically not more than $15 one way. However, when there is a big show downtown, expect to pay more. That night, the ride was almost $40. If you get a chance, visit Monell's for down-home fried chicken, catfish, and all the fixin's. It is in Germantown.

Negative: The only things to note are that the WiFi is not great, so if you want to stream something live, it tends to buffer a lot. I was able to complete a few tasks for work without any issues, but we struggled to stream the football and basketball games very well. The TVs were a little challenging to work with, but we never requested assistance, so it could have been due to user error. Again, we were not there for long, so it was not a significant issue. The fire pit on the deck was not working, but that was not a huge issue. They had someone come by to check it out, but they could not figure out how to get power to it.
