Less than 10 min to Clemson University, it's the ideal home base for families, alumni, or visitors for campus events, graduations, parent/game weekends, or summer camps. You're a hop, skip and jump from Lake Keowee, Lake Jocassee, countless waterfalls and hiking spots, and you'll find shopping, local dining and Clemson spirit just minutes away!
The space
Tastefully updated, this lovely third floor condo is a spacious, peaceful retreat for your stay while visiting Clemson and the surrounding areas. The community is nestled on a cove of Lake Hartwell with a swim/fishing dock, boat launch and overnight boat slips (must be pre-arranged).
Experience the luxury of a hotel stay with all the amenities of your own home! Each of three bedrooms has a queen bed with plush bedding and ensuite bathroom. Full kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances, and a lovely balcony to enjoy coffee or cocktails while taking in the view of Lake Hartwell and Death Valley Football Stadium in the distance.
Offering 3 ensuite bedrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable living room with plenty of seating and a great balcony with long range mountain views on clear days. The complex has loads of amenities including a pool, fire pit, charcoal grills, volleyball court, pool and pingpong tables in the comfortable clubhouse, an exercise room and even a swim dock and boat slips that can be rented (must reserve in advance). While this was my son's home during his years as a student at Clemson, our family has also traveled a ton and put a lot of thought into how to make your stay the most comfortable and enjoyable it can be, we hope you have everything you need, and more! We also care deeply about your health and comfort. We use only all-natural, non-toxic cleaning and household products — no harsh chemicals — to ensure a safe, fresh, and healthy stay.
THE LIVING ROOM: has a 75" TV with guest access so you can just log in to your accounts and pick up that favorite show right where you left off. (There is no cable). Comfy couch and seating area with coffee and end tables and lots of lighting provide a great gathering space. In the console under the tv you will find a lending library ("take one, leave one") and some rainy day games just in case of wet weather. There are extra throws and blankets for those rainy or chilly nights while watching a movie or weekend games.
THE KITCHEN: is fully stocked with pots and pans, a blender, sandwich maker, other small appliances, both a Keurig and a full coffee pot, wine glasses plus all of the usual kitchen items. Keurig pods are supplied along with sugar/sweetener and mini creams, dishwashing soap and detergent, hand soap and paper towels.
EACH BEDROOM: has a plush pillowtop queen bed with four pillows as well as soft cozy bedding. Each bed has 4 pillows - 2 medium and 2 soft as well as quilted bedspread and extra blankets. There is a full sized dresser, night tables and lamps in each room, along with a dedicated workspace.
EACH ENSUITE BATHROOM: has a full-sized vanity with granite counters, a hairdryer, liquid hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion are provided. A full set of plush, luxurious towels is provided as well as toilet paper.
THE LAUNDRY: You'll find a full size washer and dryer and non-toxic laundry detergent available. There is a folding area as well as an iron and various useful items.
Guest access
Entire condo and balcony are for your use minus the designated owner storage areas. All bedrooms have full closets for your use.
There is a locked owners' storage cabinet in the kitchen, and locked storage closet on the balcony that are not available to guests.
The kitchen has many empty cabinets for all of your food items and the full fridge has plenty of room.
You can use the community amenities - please see the manual for details. There is a pool, gym, grills, pool table, pingpong, swim dock and boat slips (must arrange in advance), fire pit, volleyball and basketball court available. You must have a wristband (provided in the condo) with one member of the group using the facilities to show you are a guest of the owner.
There is a "CAT" bus that runs from Harts Cove to Clemson during the school year (except for holidays and not on game days). It picks up and drops off right in front of the clubhouse and is free to ride. Anyone can ride this bus for free and it runs approximately every 30 minutes.
Other things to note
Parking passes are required for the apartment complex. 3 hang tags are provided at check in. Hang tags must be returned upon check out or there will be a $100 fine. Any additional vehicles must park in visitor designated parking (marked with a V and paw print). Visitor parking is not guaranteed and is harder to come by on game weekends.
Wristbands are required for use of the clubhouse and community amenities, at least one member of your party must be in possession of a wristband while using the amenity.
Parking passes are left on the kitchen counter upon arrival!
